This is for the serious collector of my work! Includes material recorded 2007-2009. The music is a mixture of rock, experimental electronica, and jazz.

10 Facts About Contender

1.  Every song was recorded in Vancouver, BC.

2.  All of my vocals were recorded using an iPhone hands free set.

3.  This album was made right in front of your eyes!  When a song was finished, I uploaded it until the album was completed.

4.  The sample in the title track “Contender” is Marlon Brando in a scene from one of my favorite movies On The Waterfront.

5.  The album art is a picture taken by Dot Chow of me on the beach in Vancouver, BC.

6.  Both verses from “No Pressure” and “I Gotta Win Remix” by The Enova were recorded by him in Phoenix, AZ, and then sent to me in Vancouver, BC; over the internet.  This is how we do most of our stuff together, including both BlackDude albums.

7.  The voice in “Respect Me (Interlude)” is Lindsay Lohan.

8.  As I was making this album I called it My Mysterious Rap Album.

9.  I started recording this album in early October of 2010.

10.  The official release date for this album was November 11th, 2010 as a gift to my mother for her birthday; who passed away earlier that year.
